Deccan Plaza offers a range of Chinese vegetarian dishes that are spicy, sweet and sour
Olives, the multi-cuisine restaurant at Deccan Plaza hosts “Return Of the Dragon”, a food festival featuring cuisine of the Far East till March 30.
The buffet spread conjured up by the restaurant’s Executive Chef Selvaraj and his team comprises signature dishes blending authentic ingredients from the region form part of the menu.
The buffet spread includes traditional Chinese vegetarian dishes such as pomelo, wonton, pohpia, mietang, nasigoreing, kheitheo, miefoon, kobotha chowpan, yonggohwo, ma foie noodles, toffe apple and fried ice cream.
Apart from pickles, there is a variety of desserts. Deccan Plaza is located at 36, Royapettah High Road. For reservations, call 66773333.
The festival is open for dinner during weekdays and for lunch and dinner during weekends.
The menu varies everyday.
Accord Metropolitan presents “Mumbai Chatpata”, a food festival that features dishes which have been influenced by Marathi, Gujarati and Parsi cuisines. The dishes include matar usal pav, fish koliwada, batatyachi bhaji, patrel, Kolhapuri rassa, hirvya tomato chi bhaji and lagan nu custard.
