Alecture on German Expressionist Cinema is conducted by Sridala Swami, followed by a lecture on German Dance Theatre with focus on Pina Bausch by Anna Edlin.

The lectures are followed by a workshop. German Expressionism refers to several creative movements in Germany before the First World War that reached a peak during the 1920s.

Many critics see a direct tie between cinema and architecture of the time. An example on this is the film “Metropolis”.
