Based on an award-winning novel by Matt Cohen, “Emotional Arithmetic” charts the fateful reunion of three survivors of the notorious French transit camp, Drancy. In 1945, Jakob Bronski, a young dissident held at Drancy, takes two children, Melanie and Christopher, under his charge. Forty years later Melanie discovers that Jakob, whom she believed killed, is still alive. She immediately invites him to live with her and her family on their farm in Canada. The past explodes into the present.

THE PINK PANTHER 2

Steve Martin reprises the role of Inspector Clouseau in “The Pink Panther 2” directed by Harald Zwart. Inspector Clouseau teams up with detectives from other countries played by Andy Garcia, Alfred Molina, Yuki Matsuzaki and Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as an intriguing criminology expert. Jean Reno and Emily Mortimer reprise their roles as Clouseau’s partner Ponton and his girlfriend Nicole respectively.

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON

David Fincher’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: A man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. The film tells the grand tale of a not so ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way and what lasts beyond time.
