C athay Pacific launches the ‘Travel the world in 80 days' initiative. As part of the initiative, participants must click the ‘Like' option on the airlines' Facebook page, and can submit a 30-second or one-minute video, photo or a story explaining how they'd like to spend 80 days travelling around the world.

From the entries, eight will be short-listed. The chosen ones are taken to Hong Kong (airfare and accommodation taken care of) for a final panel interview, and a one-day challenge from April 12 to 14. The finalists will tour Hong Kong for a day and tweet on Twitter and upload photos that capture the essence of the city. The winner gets a bonanza — unlimited round-trip economy class tickets from Hong Kong to any destination of your choice on the Cathay Pacific / Dragonair Netwok, for 80 days from June to August; four days three nights at a four-star hotel for a trip; a daily allowance of HK$ 2,800 for a day for a trip; and global travel insurance! Entries will be accepted till March 6. The contest is open to those aged 18 and above.
