An ethnic Keralitie treat with a twist

Ingredients

Rice flour: 100 gm

Jaggery: 50 gm

Grated coconut: 50 gm

Dates: 50 gm

Cardamom powder: 5 gm

Banana leaf: 1

Salt to taste

Cumin: 2 gm

Method

Make dough with rice flour, hot water, cumin and salt. Spread it on the leaf greased with ghee.

Make a stuffing with jaggery, coconut, cardamom powder, honey and dates. Spread the mixture on the dough. Fold the dough to desired shape.

Steam it for 15 minutes and serve as dessert or a snack.
