This fund raising experience is called “Go! Make A Difference”. Its a four-day cycling tour, organised by Go! Mad Cycle Tours. The trip starts on February 7 in Bangalore and will conclude in Gudalur (in the Nilgiri Hills). The aim is to raise funds, interact with like minded people and get a glimpse of the local life. The funds raised will be used for the Shola Trust, which has been working in the Gudalur region for elephant conservation, say the organisers.

The trip takes you across Kollegal, Chamarajanagar, and Mangala bordering and going through Bandipur and Mudumalai Tiger Reserves. It is open to 25 participants, who will be short listed for the tour. Each participant will need to raise Rs. 20,000 each. They will need a bicycle and be ready to pedal 80 km a day, say the organisers. Accommodation, food and medical aid will be taken care off.
