R angadhara, Sutradhar and Cisne For Arts present the RangSutra Festival of Performing Arts, a convention of art and theatre, at NIF, Madhapur.

The festival kicks off on January 13 with Sutradhar presenting Theo Lesoualch's Dramatic Space, a reflection on the vagaries of being a theatre actor. Bangalore-based Veena Basavarajaiah will then perform Maya – Beyond the Illusion of Time and Perception and SitaA Movement Monologue.

January 14 will see Udaan presenting Vijay Tendulkar's Hatt Teri Kismat, the story of a politician and commoner swapping places. Nishumbita will stage another Tendulkar favourite, Khamosh, Adalat Jaari Hai.

Delhi-based Dastak presents Dastan-Goi, reviving the ancient Islamic tradition of storytelling, on January 15. The festival ends with Dr. Mahesh Elkunchwar's Sonata by Sutradhar — the story of three single women.
