Here is a list of things that you can tuck into while celebrating Holi tomorrow. For a sumptuous buffet head to Mast Kalandar, priced at Rs. 149. The meal begins with traditional festival drinks kanjee and thandai. The former is served in a traditional mud kulhad and the latter is a dry-fruit based milk drink. The specialities include the dhuyandar kheere mulli ki bhujia, which is a salad with a smoked flavour, dhai papdi chaat, murmur churmur, dum aloo Benarasi, matar paneer, dal panchratna, matar pooris, kachoris and baatis. The dahi bhalla is served with saunth seem and the rangarang chawal and hari chutney are Holi delicacies. The desserts include malpua with rabri and gunjia. The buffet concludes tomorrow and is on at the restaurants on Bannerghatta Road (41527475/41507172), C.M.H. Road (41475000/01) and Koramangala (41214646).The Magadh Lawns at The Grand Ashok will be celebrating Holi Ke Hurdang with natural gulal, a rustic ambience, music and ethnic food. Potters and mehndi artists will entertain guests along with traditional dhol players. There will also be some dance music from DJ Hussain. The culinary spread will include dishes such as kadhi chawal with anaardane ki chatni, gaanthia aur sev, dahi balle, a variety of chaats, sweets and drinks.
