A daylong quiz on June 7 at Museum Theatre
The Quiz Foundation of India, Chennai will conduct a daylong quiz fest on Sunday, June 7 at Museum Theatre. This year’s edition will begin with a SpEnt (Sports & Entertainment) Quiz ahead of the fifth annual QFI Open Quiz.
“The QFI is one of the oldest quizzing communities in India, and so the QFI Open Quiz is bound to be one of the most entertaining, informative quizzes around,” says Rajen Prabhu, QFI Secretary. “The first four Open Quizzes by the QFI were great successes, with over 120 teams showing up last year. This edition too will be organised and conducted by our younger members, with a mix of contemporary and classical quizzing,” he adds.
The SpEnt Quiz Prelims will begin at10.30 a.m. and the Open Quiz Prelims will be held at 3.30 p.m. “Quizzers can register on the spot. Two per team for SpEnt and three per team for the open quiz. There’s no registration fees but quizzers should register at least 15 minutes before the start of each preliminary round, since seating will be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis,” says Vinod Ganesh of QFI.

The QFI meets every alternate Sunday at the PS Senior Secondary School in Mylapore.
