WOW (Women on Wanderlust) is organising a five-night and six-day trip to Cambodia from February 9 to 14, 2013. The travel begins with arrival in Phnom Penh where you get to relax and then shop at Russian Market.

The travel itinerary includes a visit to Siem Reap through National Road No. 6, Spider Village, where locals go out into the jungle to gather tarantulas, de-fang them and sell them at the market. Carving Village is also on the list. Here you will get to see artisans working on pre-cut blocks of stone or wood.

Angkor Thom is the next destination, where you will get to explore Baphuon (a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva), Terrace of the Elephants (A 350m-long terrace which was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall), Terrace of the Leper King (so named because of discoloration and moss growing on it was reminiscent of a person with leprosy) and the World Heritage site Angkor Wat (said to be the largest Hindu temple complex in the world).

The package is priced at Rs. 44,950 on a twin share basis. Early bird offer gives you a discount of Rs. 2,500 if you book by December 20.
