Bike Hub hunts out new cycle routes using roads and cycle path data from CycleStreets.net. You can choose from: shortest, quickest, quietest or “balanced” routes. Using quietest we discovered cross-country tracks we didn't know existed. It also proved adept at avoiding main roads using underpasses. GPS lock on is quick on the Galaxy S, without signal drop in rural areas. The voice commands are less useful in town as they tend to be late and the robotic voice can be tricky to hear above traffic noise. Outside of the big smoke it's a useful app, though.
