It has become an unavoidable situation that people enjoy watching their heroes with cigars and drinks in films. Despite the Government ban on showing smoking and drinking in films, such scenes are shown with a warning that `Cigarette smoking is injurious to health.' Tobacco kills nearly 30 lakh people every year and regular drinking attacks our central nervous system. People must understand the consequences of smoking and drinking. The youth of today are going in the wrong path by following their heroes without knowing the effects of these two social evils. The CBFC should ban films with smoking and drinking scenes and save youngsters from danger.
