"Ghost Rider" is the first blockbuster from Hollywood this year to have raked in a cool $52 million in its opening weekend in the U.S. It released in Chennai yesterday. The film is based on comic character Johnny Blaze, the stunt motorcyclist, who gives up his soul to go to hell and fight Blackheart, the son of the devil! The film has awesome special effects and is fun to watch. Nicolas Cage in the title role is fantastic. "Ghost Rider" has a Chennai connection, as some of the visual effects in the film were done at the animation and visual effects company, Frame Flow, in Kelambakkam. The U.S based Sony Pictures Imageworks was so impressed with the work of Frame Flow that it has acquired a 51 per cent equity stake worth $5 million in the company.
