SRK praises Farah

Farah Khan and Boman Irani have been getting a lot of praise for their forthcoming comedy, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi . One of the first posters of the film was a spoof on Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and the latest one is a tribute to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge . The poster was unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan. The comedy is directed by Bela Sehgal and tells the story of a 40-plus couple — essayed by Boman and Farah. At the launch, SRK praised Farah for being one of the finest directors today. Friends turned rivals are back together again?

Here comes ‘Yomics’

Uday Chopra is excited. No, he hasn’t signed a new film. He is launching a new label of comic books, Yomics, based on Yash Raj movies such as Dhoom and Ek Tha Tiger . The actor says his passion for comics and graphic novels led him to launch the comics. “Most people don’t want to get into producing comics because they don’t want to put money into it. My love for comics led me to this,” he said, speaking during the launch of Yomics at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai, recently.

As of now, there are four titles — Dhoom, Ek Tha Tiger, Hum Tum and a new character based comic called Daya Prochu. The fifth title is in the pipeline and will be introduced during Diwali. Uday Chopra promises a new Yomic title each month.
