Ram is back

Zee TV is all set to showcase the mythological series Ramayan.

While the casting has not been frozen, actors such as Aditya Redij, Avinash Sachdev and Amir Dalvi have been approached to play Ram, and Sanjeeda Sheikh, Suhasi Dhami and Rubina Dilaik have been auditioned for the role of Sita.

Sukesh Motwani, Head, Fiction Programming, Zee TV says, “We have a twin objective. To foster the concept of the ‘family TV viewing experience’ and to reach out to an entire generation of youngsters who have not grown up watching Ramayan. We have roped in the Sagars for the show.”
