A two-hour film adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s high seas tale, “Ebb tide” will be aired tonight on Monday Night Classics on The History Channel at 9 p.m. “Ebb Tide” is about three luckless adventurers who agree to sail a ship from Tahiti to Australia loaded with a cargo of vintage champagne.
Out at sea, their nightmare begins when they discover the bottles are full of sea water and they have been duped into sailing a ship meant to sink.
