A Wonderful World is an art exhibition with a cause

A Wonderful World, an art exhibition, brings together 25 artists of different conceptual sensibilities on a single platform on March 18, 19 and 21 at Olive Beach, 16, Wood Street, Bangalore.

Works of artists Jamil Naqsh, Amiya Bhattacharjee, Kamar Alam and Seema Kohli will be curated by Elizabeth Rogers. The exhibition is organised for the benefit of New Delhi-based NGO Four Steps, in association with Nitanjali Art Gallery.

The genres of work range from abstract to figural, from neo-geometric to the contemporary surreal. Two of the artists, Chottu Lal and Yugal Kishore Sharma, are celebrated contemporary miniature painters. Materials used include oil and acrylic paints, watercolour, charcoal, pastel and conte, aluminium, handmade paper, mixed media (digital works), and wood.

Art aficionados in the city have the opportunity to view the exhibition on March 18, 19 and 20 from 12 noon. The works are on sale.
