An opportunity to experience Amazon rainforests
Sofia House of Tourism, an exploratory holiday company, is now ready with an Amazon riverboat expedition for the discerning Indian traveller. The company has recently won the rights in India from Green Tracks, USA, to offer Indians a view of the Amazon. GreenTracks is well-known for its ecotourism and adventure expeditions. Its services are used by National Geographic, the British and Canadian Broadcasting Systems, and the Discovery Channel .
Most GreenTracks riverboat expeditions travel to one of three regions Sofia is currently exploring. These are the Rio Tigre region, the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve and its newest area of study, the Rio Tapiche system. “No matter what the destination of the riverboat expedition, tourists are assured a high quality experience of the ‘real’ Amazon,” the company promises.
Asad Siddiqui, CEO, claims, “This is your best opportunity to see the magic of the rainforest and the Amazon River with a company that is known for its knowledge of this exotic land. This will be an experience of a lifetime”.
A trip to the Amazon rainforests by boat will cost $1995, with an additional $200 for single supplement. This cost does not include airfare to the departure city of Lima (Peru). The expedition lasts for a week (Sunday to Saturday).
