EVENT British Council organises a host of workshops for students and working professionals

British Council conducts workshops for working professionals, college and school students.

The sessions are a mix of theoretical inputs, practical facilitation exercises with feedback and self-reflection aiming to enable wholesome professional development.

The workshop for school students aged 15 and 16 years is on June 22 and 23. The timings are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 Ignite is a training concept that is designed to introduce children to the world of five C’s — creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and confidence. 

 The workshops for college students (above the age of 18 years) and working professionals will take place in June, July and August and will help them develop their overall professional skills.  

From ‘No’ to ‘Yes’, June 21, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This workshop deals with a constructive route to agreement.

  Emotional intelligence for success, July 6, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

This workshop aims to strengthen the participant’s personal awareness, confidence and emotional intelligence irrespective of whether he/she is a manager, a professional or a parent. Making the difference: making the customer feel special, July 26, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Participants will understand the effectiveness of great customer service. This translates to helping them know how to be great customer service champions and also how to make each customer feel special.

 Dealing with difficult people, August 23, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Learn a few techniques that work for dealing with difficult people and situations and in turn can boost your confidence, improve your competence, reduce stress and anxiety and increase your enthusiasm for life. Motivation: your driving force on August 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This seminar will help bring about incredible, positive, mind-set changes and will motivate you.
