THEATRE How To Skin A Giraffe is being staged

Perch, Chennai and Rafiki, Bengaluru have collaborated to stage How To Skin A Giraffe . Inspired by German playwright Goerg Buchner’s Leonce and Lena and an adaptation written by Rashmi Devadasan Giraffe is about “two dynasties, a son, a daughter, a marriage of convenience, an escape, a chance encounter.” The play explores the question of can fate be challenged or destiny prevail? And as an aside, how does one skin a giraffe?

The script has been devised by Perch and Rafiki and is directed by Rajiv Krishnan. It is multilingual with the main language being English. The cast includes Iswar Srikumar, Ravindra Vijay, Karuna Amarnath, Vedanth Bharadwaj, Sachin Gurjale and Anand Sami.
