Festival The Residency comes up with a premium cake for Christmas
One bite of The Residency’s premium matured plum cake, and you’re in high spirits.
The moist, crumbly plum cake, which arrives in an elegant and festive white tin, comes loaded with dry fruits (675 grams in a 900-gram cake!), subtle spices and just the right amount of sweetness.
It’s Christmas, and you should not be counting calories, but if you must, the hotel says the cake is 99 per cent trans-fat free.
The premix, a mix of plums and other dry fruits, has been matured for over 120 days in a mix of rum and brandy.
A 900-gram cake is priced at Rs. 700 (nett). The cake will keep for three months.
