Poll disasters
He’s won awards galore for his acting and then some for his fashion sense and also for being the most eligible bachelor around! But here’s one that he may have not been prepared for. Ranbir Kapoor has won the ‘perfect husband material’ award in a special poll conducted by a matrimonial website. If that makes him feel good (?), then there’s more. People voted for his-ex Deepika Padukone to be most suited as his partner. Katrina Kaif was behind her by almost two-thirds of the votes. One glitch here, though… Ranbir is reportedly seeing Katrina currently.
Drink and solve
Official permissions are often required to shoot at guarded locations and Bollywood is not new to it. But the makers of Neil Nitin Mukesh’s upcoming film 3G faced a unique problem. They wanted to shoot the film on the picturesque Fiji Islands and the local village elders of some smaller islands initially refused them permission! They were reportedly concerned about any possible disturbance and damage to their habitat. The unit had a seven-hour long chat with them and things were finally sorted out when the two parties shared the local drink ‘kava’. As they say, a lot can happen over a drink. The film has been shot on Denarau Island, capital Suva and Sigatoka town, besides the smaller islands.
