Naadhabrahmam, Chennai, has organised a series of special programmes on the occasion of Mahasivaratri, to be held at Sri Yoga Kalyana Mandapam, Ammamandapam Road, Srirangam, Tiruchi. The programme begins on March 10, 6.01 p.m. and concludes the next morning (6 a.m.)

Dance guru Shantha Dhananjayan will inaugurate the festival and V.P. Dhananjayan will deliver the inaugural address. R. Ramasubbu, associate editor, Dinamalar , Tiruchi, will preside over.

The line-up will begin with Preity Mukundhan’s Bharatanatyam recital at 6.20 p.m. followed by vocal concerts of Vijay Siva (7.30 p.m.) and Carnatica Brothers (9.30 p.m.)

Bharatanatyam by Uma Ramesh (11.30 p.m.); music concerts by R. Madhwaprasad (12.30 a.m.); Jayalakshmi Sekar (1.30 a.m.); Tiruchi K. Ramesh (2.30 a.m.) and T.V.K. Ramanujacharyalu (4 a.m.) complete the schedule.

In Chennai , Sri Thulaseeswarar Baktha Jana Sabha has organised special puja on the occasion of Sivaratri on March 10 from 7 p.m. at Sri Vilvanayake Samedha Sri Thulaseeswarar Koil, East Tambaram.
