Directed by V. R. Gopinath, this classic Malayalam film narrates the tale of Raghu, the only surviving male in an old and rich traditional household in Kerala. He is a staunch devotee of the family goddess. The atmosphere is both fascinating and oppressing for Raghu's wife, Radha, who lives as a prisoner in the house. Meanwhile, Raghu fears that the Goddess will get angry if he consummates the marriage. One day, when Raghu goes to pray to the Goddess as usual, he hears the sound of anklets. He believes that the goddess has come to life and falls at her feet to forgive him for any sins he has committed. It is the image of Radha that appears before him. Vijayaraghavan and Chippy star in the lead roles.

This classic Marathi film, directed by Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar, tries to reinterpret ‘Vastupurush' (the guardian spirit of the house) myth, which says that the guardian spirit is the eternal witness to the deeds of a family. The film tells the story of a Magsaysay award-winning doctor named Bhaskar Narayan Deshpande who decides to return to his village after 40 years of living in Mumbai, and builds a hospital on the ruins of his ancestral house. The film stars Siddharth Daftardar and Uttara Baokar.

As the Sabarimala pilgrimage season draws near, the channel introduces special segments in its news bulletins to cover significant events of the two-month-long event. Beginning on November 15, each Sabarimala special will be an information-packed capsule telecast during news time at 8 a.m., 11a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and will include daily events and special rituals at the temple, Devaswom Board announcements, reports on VIP visits, their press conferences and so on.
There will be special telecasts of the Mandalapooja on November 16 and Makaravilakku on January 14.
