NEW MEDIUM Naseeruddin Shah in Ismat Apa Ke Naam

Naseeruddin Shah’s productions Katha Collage and Ismat Apa Ke Naam will be staged on October 2 and 3 in Bangalore

Katha Collage and Ismat Apa Ke Naam – two plays directed and produced by Naseeruddin Shah will be staged in Bangalore on October 2 and 3, 2009. I Katha Collage has three classic tales in it – “Bade Bhai Saheb” (Elder Brother) and “Shatranj Ke Khiladi” (The Chess Players) are both written by Premchand Munshi, where as Sankraman (The Circle of Life) is by Kamtanath. “Ismat Apa Ke Naam” is again three stories of the famous Urdu writer, Ismat Chugtai. The stories are “Amar Bel”, “Nanni ki Naani” and “Do Haath”. Entry for the performance is through donations of Rs 2000 and Rs.1000. Entry for the performance through donations of Rs. 500 and Rs. 300 will be available from September 24 onwards at Cafe Coffee Day outlets.
