All are welcome for the Kolu, Durgotsav and Deepavali celebrations that will take place at Madras Kali Bari (12,Umapathy Street Extn., West Mambalam) from September 19. (Mahalaya Amavasya is on September 18).

The inaugural will be held on September 19, 7 p.m. Prakashjee, patron member, will be the Chief Guest and A. N. Srinivasa Rao, Madras Kali Bari’s Emirate president will be the guest of honour. Sister Pravrajika Ramaprana, president of Sri Sarada Math, will inaugurate Durgotsav on September 24, 6.30 p.m.

Maha Saptami will be on September 25. Saptarshi Group from West Bengal will present ‘Durga,’ a dance drama.

Maha Astaami on September 26 will begin with a prayer at 6.00 a.m. Maha Navami on September 27 will begin the day at 7.00 a.m. with a prayer. Maha Dasami on September 28 will begin with prayer at 9.00 a.m. For Deepavali on 17 October, the chanting of Chandi at 5.00 a.m. will be followed by homams and prayers.
