Sri Rukmini Samedha Venugopalaswamy Temple in Maduravasal Village is set for renovation after many decades.
The temple, located near Periyapalayam on Chennai-Tirupathi Road, has separate niches for Lord Krishna and Rukmini.
The locals believe that, if one worships at this temple, said to have been constructed 150 years ago, it is sure to bestow a healthy, happy, married life, progeny and peace on him.

The trust invites donations from philanthropists.
