* * * Kinnnara Mela, a travelling theatre repertory of rural actors based in Tumari/Heggodu will be presenting their new production of Bertolt Brecht’s “Mother Courage” in Kannada on July 18 at Ninasam, Heggodu. The play has been translated into Kannada by Lingadevaru Halemane and directed by Professor K.S. Rajendran of NSD (Delhi). The production will tour different parts of Karnataka.

* * * Bangalore Lalithakala Parishath has organised a dance performance today by Nirupama, Rajendra and the ADC Dance Team at 6.30 p.m. at Dr. H.N. Kalakshetra (National College of Jayanagar-Bangalore). There will be Bharatanatya and Kathak sequences. Entry is free.
