It is the first of its kind, a six star modelling agency that provides every imaginable resource and amenity for models. Travel and Living Channel’s ‘Ocean Models,’ April 20 at 10 p.m., chronicles the journey of the male and female fashion models. It also gives a rare look into their lifestyle. The agency’s president Kaya Wittenburg is a former top male model, whose mission is to redefine the standards of business by creating a new concept. Viewers get to see the glamorous and excessive lives along with the trials of the owner, the drama, conflict, and personality clashes. Ocean Models, based in South Beach, Miami, offers a first-class environment that helps these young men and women to succeed in this tough and competitive world. The international models are to live together in a huge mansion, have access to personal trainers, nutritionists, an Escalade limousine and a personal stylist. However, they are also given house rules to follow, a fact that immediately creates conflict amongst the group. Cliques begin to form and dividing lines are drawn between them as well as the staff.
Moving across America in an attempt to discover and fix run down establishments, Gordon Ramsay checks into each ‘Hotel Hell,’ April 24 at 9 p.m., for a first–hand experience. From awful inns to lousy lodgings, seedy hotels to appalling bed and breakfasts, he endures it all. Whether it is bad food or service, dirty bedrooms or mould-ridden bathrooms, he will work with the owners to come to grips with the problems in an effort to turn these places around.
