M uhammed discovered the Ibadat Khana (Hall of Inter-religious discussions), a Christian chapel and a Mughal Bazaar at Fatehpur Sikri, several Megalithic burial sites in Kerala and a Buddhist stupa at Rajgir, Bihar. He excavated St. Augustin Church in Goa, headed the transplantation of Mahadev temple at Kurdi in Goa from its original place to one 20 km away. He was involved in the conservation of more than 70 temples in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, forts, stupas, churches and mosques in various parts of India. In Delhi, he had undertaken major conservation works at Qila Rao Pithora, Qutub Minar, Siri Fort, Tughlaqabad, Adilabad, Shah Jahanabad and the Red Fort as part of the Commonwealth Games 2010.
