Dance workshop

Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy has organised a dance workshop ‘Nrityavadhana,’ to be held from June 3 to 7, 7 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., at Sri Vishwanatha Temple, Punanooru, Mulki.

The workshop is conceived and designed by Vyjayanthi Kashi, chairperson, Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy. This short course gives the dancers and the teachers an opportunity to refresh their skills in Bharatanatyam (by Padmini Ramachandran), Kuchipudi (by Laxmi Rajamani) and Kathak (by Jayathi Eshwar Puti). The evening session includes dance performance and lecture demonstrations. The workshop is open to all. Accommodation and food will be provided to all the participants. Those who have a minimum of three years experience in dance and are above 15 years of age may apply. Music classes

The Music Academy invites applications for the following Instrumental classes: Part time (weekly two classes) – six-year course in mridangam, veena and five-year course in violinand two-year course in vocal for beginners.
