Romeo and Juliet: A Monkey's Tale
Romeo and Juliet: A Monkey's Tale

It is a continent with beautiful and varied landscapes. The diversity of life from its jungles to the frozen tundras, is amazing. Animal Planet’s ‘Wild Asia,’ November 11 and 12 at 8 p.m., shows how these interesting creatures have adapted in the face of adversity. Elusive snow leopards hunt in the Himalayas, orangutans dwell deep within humid rainforests and wild horses graze in the stony Gobi Desert.

In ‘Romeo and Juliet: A Monkey’s Tale,’ November 14 at 6 p.m., watch a drama unfold in the mountains of Thailand. In a Shakespearean take, two young monkeys from rival factions fall in love. The two groups of local simian population declare war to keep them apart. But this familiar story has a twist.
