After `New' and `Ah _ Aah' S. J. Suryah's films have been more known for their sex slants and double entendres, though he cries himself hoarse that his films have many socially relevant messages. Looks like `Kalvanin Kadhali' (Suryah is not its director) will be different. It's a neat film of a playboy (of course, there's a contradiction here) who reforms after finding true love! "You will see Nayantara nice, decent outfits. Yet `Kalvanin _' has many ingredients for the youth," assures the fil m's PRO.
