A rare jugalbandi

Gayana Samaja, KR Road, Bangalore and Vyasa Veda Peeta ( Centre for Self Realisation ), Kengeri, Bangalore, are jointly organizing a unique jugalbandi of Indian Classical music vocal recital on February 24, 2013, 6 p.m. at Gayana Samaja, K.R. Road.

Gundechcha Brothers (Umakanth, Ramakanth – vocal and Akhilesh – pakhavaz) are renowned Drupad singers of the country. They will be singing along with Malladi Brothers (Ramprasad and Ravikumar) are well known for traditional singing of Carnatic classical vocal music. They will be accompanied by Nyveli S. Narayanan on mridangam and M.A. Sunderseshan on violin.
