In Time

When Will Salas is falsely accused of murder, he must figure out a way to bring down a system where time is money – literally - enabling the wealthy to live forever while the poor, like Will, have to beg, borrow, and steal enough minutes to make it through another day. Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde play the lead roles.

Gladiator

Russell Crowe plays Maximus, a betrayed Roman general who returns as a gladiator to take revenge after his wife and son are brutally murdered by the corrupted Prince Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix). Commodus has turned against his own father to take over the Roman empire. Directed by Ridley Scott, this epic also stars Connie Nielsen, Oliver Reed and Richard Harris.

The Simpsons Movie

In this film based on the TV series, Homer must save the world from a catastrophe he caused. When Homer accidentally pollutes Springfield’s lake, the government decides to enclose the entire town in giant glass dome. While Marge is outraged by Homer's monumental blunder, a vengeful mob of locals target the Simpson household.

Hop

(HBO, Saturday, 7.10 p.m.)

Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world's worst house guest, both learn what it takes to finally grow up.

The cast includes James Marsden, Russell Brand, and Hank Azaria.

Happy Feet Two

The sequel has Eric and his friends save the Emperor penguins when disaster strikes in the form of a large iceberg that traps their land.
