Launched this past week, the soap is produced by Thiruchelvam Theatres, and written and directed by ‘Kolangal' fame Thiruchelvam, who also plays the hero.

Vasanthan is happy to live surrounded by relatives. He meets and falls in love with Kalyani, who is looking for a husband who does not have a large family. Will they marry?

Popular Malayalam heroine Meera plays Kalyani. The others in the cast include Nalini, L.V. Aadhavan, Bhavana, Bhavani, Bhavya Kala, Karpagam, Ramesh Kumar, Nandhini, Bharathi Kannan, Sri Vidya and, last but not least, Mouli.

Lucka Kicka

(Zee Tamil, Mondays and Tuesdays, 9.30 p.m.)

Yesteryear heroine Roja makes an appearance with this new game show. Four contenders have to go through four interesting rounds to make it to the top.

Artists from the film and TV industries as well as youngsters in the age group 18-28, will participate.

Aaha Enna Porutham

(Zee Tamil, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9.30 p.m.)

Yet another game show will hit the small screen on March 28. Hosted by actor Suresh, the show is for couples. There are four fun-filled rounds - magic, compatibility, activity and buzzer. The winner gets a free holiday to an exotic resort in India. The bumper prize is a free holiday abroad.

Ungalil Yaar Prabhu Dheva

The episodes on March 25 and April 1 will feature the international dance troupe, Bad Boys of Dance, led by Rasta Thomas. The U.S.-based Bad Boys of Dance School comprises fresh, talented youngsters who have been performing all over the world. An added attraction will be actor Bharat, the special guest, who will shake a leg with the troupe.
