Martin’s Day

Martin Stechert (Richard Harris) escapes prison. Not wanting to be caught again, he takes a 12-year-old boy as hostage.

The boy is also called Martin (Justin Henry). Martin is a nice boy who follows all instructions given by Stechert. He soon begins to admire Stechert and decides to stay with him despite finding chances to escape.

The two of them flee the place and go to find peace at Stechert’s home, a cabin on the lake.

The Falcon and the Snowman

This is the true story about two childhood friends from affluent American families, who betray their country when they decide to sell government secrets to the Russians.

The Programme

Fool’s Gold

Ben (Matthew McConaughey) and Tess (Kate Hudson) are recently divorced.

But the estranged couple’s sense of adventure and romance is brought back to life when they find a clue to a long-lost treasure. Ben persuades Nigel (Donald Sutherland), Tess’s multimillionaire boss, to finance the trip. Will they find the Spanish treasure that had been hidden for centuries?

Puss in Boots

Years before meeting Shrek and Donkey, the adorable but tricky Puss in Boots must clear his name from all charges making him a wanted fugitive.

While trying to steal magic beans from the infamous criminals Jack and Jill, the hero crosses paths with his female match, Kitty Softpaws, who leads Puss to his old friend, but now enemy, Humpty Dumpty. Features the voices Antonio Banderas (Puss in Boots), Salma Hayek (Kitty Softpaws) and Zach Galifianakis (Humpty Alexander Dumpty).

Safe House

(STAR Movies, Saturday, 9 p.m.)

Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) is a CIA rookie who is manning a safe house in Cape Town, South Africa, when Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), the CIA's most wanted rogue agent, is captured and taken to the safe house.

During Frost’s interrogation, the safe house is taken over by mercenaries who want Frost. Weston and Frost escape and must stay out of the gunmen's sight until they can get to another safe house.

The Reaping

(WB Movies, Monday, 4.45 p.m.)

Katherine (Hilary Swank), once a Catholic missionary, becomes a staunch atheist when her husband and daughter are sacrificed by the locals who blame them for the long drought.

Now, Katherine investigates the religious phenomena just to prove them wrong and finds scientific reasons for everything that's happening around her.

She is invited to visit Haven, in Louisiana, where the river turns to blood after the death of a small boy.
