Payton (Dennis Quaid) and Bower (Ben Foster) are space travellers. After a long hibernation, the duo wakes up on an empty spacecraft with no clue as to who they are. They go around the spaceship to check it out only to find that they are not alone as they had believed. There are a few other human beings on the ship. But there are also some feral mutants who are waiting to prey on the humans. Will Payton and Bower remain safe?

One for the Money

(STAR Movies, Friday, 7 p.m.)

Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl), out of work and out of cash, turns in desperation to her disreputable cousin Vinnie, of Vinnie’s Bail Bonds, for work. Despite having no equipment, training or particular skill she becomes a bail enforcement agent, chasing after Vinnie’s highest stakes bail jumper: Joe Morelli, a former vice cop, who is wanted for murder and who also happened to dump Stephanie back in high school. In the midst of the chase, Stephanie has to deal with her meddling family.

British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel. Less luxurious than its advertisements, the Marigold Hotel nevertheless slowly begins to charm in unexpected ways. Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith and Dev Patel star.

Evan Almighty

(STAR Movies, Sunday, 4.30 p.m.)

God appears to the newly-appointed Congressman Evan Baxter and tells him to build an ark for a flood that is coming. Initially a disbeliever, Evan begins to have second thoughts when tools to build an ark arrive at his doorstep, animals of all types hound him in pairs and he starts to sport a beard which just won't go away. Steve Carell, Morgan Freeman and Lauren Graham are in the cast.

The Specialist

(WB Movies, Monday, 6.50 p.m.)

An ex-CIA bomb expert is living as a high-tech outsider in Miami, Florida. Ray Quick is the bomb expert. May Munro is aware of his past as a bomb expert and wants to make use of it in her revenge plan to bomb the men who killed her parents. Ray is interested in May's case but is still conscious that he will never use his expertise again. But he changes his decision when a former CIA colleague of his drops by. Stars Sylvester Stallone, Sharon Stone, James Woods, Rod Steiger and Eric Roberts.
