The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of the University of Delhi has invited applications for the entrance test for admissions to the two-year fulltime MBA and MBA management of services programmes commencing in July 2009. The test will be held on January 11, 2009
Bachelor’s degree holders (minimum of 3 years’ duration) may apply. Graduates in arts, commerce or social sciences should have scored at least 50 per cent marks; graduates in science, 55 per cent; and graduates in mathematics, statistics, medicine, engineering and technology, 60 per cent. Those who are appearing for the final degree or post graduate examinations are also eligible.
Hyderabad, Visakhapatanam, Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai will be among the test centres.
Total seats: MBA–144 and MBA (MS) 64.
Admission forms and information bulletin will be available at designated branches of the State Bank of India till December 1, 2008.
For applying for both the programmes, the fee is Rs.1,000 (Rs.250 for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and differently-abled categories). For applying for one programme the fee is Rs.500(Rs.125 for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and differently abled categories).
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA) has invited applications for admission to the MBA information technology and MS cyber laws and information security programmes. No of seats: 76 each.
Graduates in any discipline with valid IIM-CAT scores are eligible to apply for MBA IT. B.E. and B.Tech holders, postgraduates and L.L.B. holders are eligible to apply for the MS programme.
