Projects on decreasing pollution of vehicles, alternate fuel generation, use of solar energy for power generation and refrigeration, new methods in welding, and many more mechanical engineering projects developed by the students were displayed at a project exhibition organised by the Nalla Malla Reddy College of Engineering.
Students of electrical engineering displayed their skills through rotating solar panels, a very innovative method of detecting and correcting faults in electrical power lines, and many others.
Mobile applications for healthcare and railways, website builders, software for virtual classrooms, were some projects done by the computer science and Information Technology students. “Some of the software projects done by the students are already being used by the college for library management and other college management applications,” said Divya Nalla, Principal.
First year B.Tech students also demonstrated projects such as burglar alarms, mobile-controlled robots, fuels, disinfectants, and low-cost home appliances.
