The students of the KVSR Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences performed extremely well in the Pharma event organised by the Pharma Helpline Society at Jaipur recently. Four students of the college stood in good stead in the competitions and secured overall rankings of 9, 11, 53 and 55.

The college management organised a felicitation function to honour the students Pathan Mehbub Khan, B. Jagadeesh, G. Ramesh and J.V. Raghavendra. Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education president B. Rama Rao, secretary P.L.N. Prasad, vice-president Nalluri Venkateswarlu and others were present. Principal Devala Rao spoke.

Celebrations at DRM office

A. Ravindranath, an employee at the South Central Railway’s Divisional Railway Manager’s office here, did well in the civil services examination and secured 347th rank at the all-India level.

His success in the prestigious examination triggered celebrations in DRM office. Colleagues and officials congratulated Mr. Ravindranath on his achievement.

He joined the Railways as ticket collector in 1996 and went on to become an Inspector (commercial) in the DRM office.

He attributedthe secret of his success to a hectic study schedule of nearly 12 hours a day.
