Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technologies (IICPT), Thanjavur, is conducting a national students’ conference on food technology, on February 7, 8.
The themes of the conference are “Technologies and Technologists for Indian Food Industries”
and “Industry-Academia-Student Meet for Prospective Employment and Career Guidance.”
The events for participation include technical presentations, posters and oral, technical quiz, models, ad-lib, documentary/short film and the cultural night.
The conference will dwell on novel food processing technology, food packaging and preservation, safety and quality control, etc.
Registration fee is Rs500 per participant. The fee should be paid in the form of a DD in favour of SCOFTECH2014, payable at Thanjavur.
Accompanying staff should also pay a registration fee of Rs 500.
