An exclusive centre to house the examination wing of Mahatma Gandhi University, Pareeksha Bhavan, will be inaugurated on November 12. The commissioning of Pareeksha Bhavan has been taken up as part of the year-long silver jubilee celebration of the university.

Defence Minister A.K. Antony will be the guest of honour at the function. The project, taken up one and a half years ago by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), was completed in a time bound manner. However, the university had to scale down its original plan for a seven-storied building on account of the escalating prices of raw materials.
