The University of Liverpool has launched two new courses – M.Sc in Advanced Biological Sciences and M.Sc in Veterinary Science — which will enable young researchers to develop the knowledge, expertise and techniques required to address the complex issues related to global food supplies in the near future.

The M.Sc in Advanced Biological Sciences offers research projects in many areas relating to food security, such as crop genomics, environmental microbiology, and bio-fuel improvement.

The M.Sc in Veterinary Science focuses on infectious disease control in animals and epidemiology, with a specific pathway in veterinary conservation science.
