A car designed by the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology received the first prize in Marketing Presentation in Supra SAE INDIA 2012 competition held at Buddh International Circuit in Noida.

The Team MJCET was one among 66 teams to get shortlisted to participate in Supra SAE India 2012.

At BIC, after three days of rigorous testing, 25 teams were qualified to run their vehicles on Buddh International Circuit – Formula 1 track. Team MJCET received first prize in Marketing Presentation winning a cash prize of Rs. 30,000. The marketing team was headed by Ashfaq A Hudda and comprised Nazeem Dhanani, Hasan S K, Sushma Ravindran and Raghu Teja.

The team also came 10{+t}{+h}in the overall rankings making it the top team from Andhra Pradesh.

The Supra Team MJCET consists of 25 B.E. final and pre-final Mechanical and Production Engineering students and is headed by Mohd. Waseem and Ch. Abhilash.

The project was done with the guidance of A.S.Reddy and Mohammed Viquar Mohiuddin, Faculty Advisors and supported by S.Khadar Vali, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and Basheer Ahmed, Principal MJCET.
