To bridge the gap between industry and academics, Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology held discussions with BOB Tech Solutions, Bangalore to launch an Innovation Hub and a Research Lab in the college. With this Lendi College can create a portal platform to connect with corporates who are looking to offer internship and employment opportunities. K.N. Venkata Raju, Founder Director amd CEO, BOB Tech, Bangalore and E K Ramakrishnan and Naveen Vooka, Senior Location Managers, BOB Tech, Bangalore visited the campus.Speaking on the occasion, Principal V.V. Rama said that the lab would enhance the employability strength of the institution.K.N. Venkata Raju, Founder Director & CEO, BOB Tech, Bangalore said that BOB Tech was in the process of bridging the gap between the industry and institute to create a platform to generate fresh ideas from the most prospective stakeholders i.e. students for introducing more user friendly applications and expand the horizons of the technology.
MVGR College of Engineering also entered into an agreement with Bob Tech. Solutions Bangalore have to start an ‘Industrial Skill Development Center’ for final year students. The skill development center is aimed at equipping the students with industrial skills and exposing them to a real Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Mentors from Bob Tech. as well as MVGR will guide around 30 students to complete real industrial projects over three months. Students are selected based on their aptitude, basic understanding of IT. Bob Tech. Solutions willd absorb around 10 students and also provide references to its 300 odd network companies who can pick up a few more students.
