The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has invited applications for the Entrance Examination for admissions to the three-year LLB course conducted by Government Law Colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode. The entrance test will be conducted on August 26 in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.Admission is restricted to Keralities only. Those who have a Bachelor's degree with minimum of 40 per cent marks in aggregate will alone be eligible for admission to the course. SC / ST applicants need only a pass in the qualifying examinations with 35 per cent marks. Those who are appearing for the final degree examination are also eligible to apply. There is no upper-age limit for admission.Number of seats available in the Government Law Colleges: Thiruvananthapuram - 100 seats, Ernakulam - 100, Thrissur - 100, Kozhikode - 100.The examination will be of three hours' duration and will consist of 200 objective type questions in general knowledge (65 questions), English (65 questions) and aptitude for legal studies (70 questions). Each correct response will be fetch three marks and for each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted from the total score.There will be separate application forms for General and SC/ST students. Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the test. Final year students can also apply. MAT application forms and bulletins can be obtained till August 12 from the selected UTI Bank Branches on the payment of Rs.650. The last date of receipt of duly filled application forms at the All India Management Association, New Delhi - 110 003 is August 14.
