IIT, Kharagpur is all set to host its annual techno-management fest, Kshitij, from February 1 to 4. The fest has witnessed some of the brightest minds of their time compete among themselves to create wonders and reach new pinnacles of excellence.
To participate in the fest, students need to register on the website www.ktj.in, which happens to be India’s largest student-run website, having recorded eight million hits last year.
With the agenda of providing a national-level platform for the students to showcase their technical and managerial prowess, Kshitij offers over 40 events encompassing nine diverse genres. Kshitij organises guest lectures, featuring eminent personalities from the world over.
In the past, dignitaries like Nobel laureate Sir James Mirrlees, co-founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales, inventor of the USB Ajay Bhatt as well as critically acclaimed actor Naseeruddin Shah have addressed audiences at Kshitij. Kshitij also undertakes several social initiatives each year in association with the country’s foremost NGOs.
The participants can actually make a difference, as their ideas will see fruition and will be implemented by the NGOs to tackle the social issues.
Without much delay, a multitude of exciting online events will commence from the first week of November.
The students should start preparing their submissions soon.
