Corporate HR teams spend enormous time on job websites searching for fresh applicants; as they are overcrowded with resumes of all sorts, from fake to that of working people who don’t need jobs. The recruiters have to go through at least 15 to 20 resumes to find a fresher.
To help them find the right candidate with right credentials a new website - ‘ www.access2campus.com’ has been launched by International School of Information Technologies (ISiTech).
It is an exclusive job search website dedicated to freshers and students. However, students preferring to upload their resumes have to pay for the service. According to Mr. Dama C, Chairman and Managing Director of ISiTech, the regular job sites cannot give a favourable deal for freshers as their resumes are not directly seen by the corporate HR teams. “On our website, recruiters can access the resumes of freshers directly for free of cost,” he said.
Another major problem that employers face in using the job sites is that the sites don’t have precise qualification search tools. They need to do quite a lot of research to find the candidates that suit their specifications. But this website would address this problem too. “The companies can ask the website for candidates that suit their job requirements. We do the search job that HR teams are doing now,” he said.
The website has a controlled upload process to assure the authenticity of the resumes. The website hosts the resumes only that have confirmation from respective college principals and remove their data after one year.
The website is roping in service agencies throughout the country to get the resumes from colleges. Students of pre-final and final years and freshers of all disciplines can register with the website for jobs in Banking, IT, Infrastructure, Medical Services and FMCG sectors.
They can avail the services by purchasing cards which are priced at Rs. 285, Rs. 499 and Rs. 750 respectively. Termed as Bronze, Silver and Gold cards, students can avail the different facilities of the site to reach out to prospective employers.
The website has quiet a few salient features such as -- video resume, applying for jobs on behalf of the candidates, informing them about job events and arranging interviews with companies among the others.KVBR
