Photojournalism is about telling a story with pictures or with pictures accompanied by words. Photojournalists usually work closely with reporters and editors to create, select and use pictures for illustrated articles and photo features.

To be a photojournalist, you should basically know the technique of photography. Photojournalism can be studied as a part of journalism course or separately. A course in photography can also help you begin your career as a photojournalist but a degree or experience in journalism would be an added advantage.

I am in class XII. I want to pursue aeronautical engineering. Please tell me about the institutes offering the course.

Aeronautical engineering deals with design, construction, testing and maintenance of aircrafts, spacecrafts, missiles and satellites. It is one of the most challenging career options. Employment opportunities for these professionals are in government organisations like ISRO and DRDO, private organisations related to aviation, aircraft, airline and satellites, defence industry and research organisations.

Aeronautical Engineering can be pursued at BE/ B.Tech or ME/ M.Tech levels. To pursue it at BE/ B.Tech level, you have to appear for entrance examinations like JEE, AIEEE or state level entrance tests like EAMCET based on the admission criteria of the college you are opting for. And in case you fail to secure a seat in this group now, you can try at postgraduate level.
